  • Christians in Action meets every Tuesday in Room 125 at 8:15. Everyone is welcome!
  • Core Value for this week is Fairness. Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.
  • If you forgot to order a yearbook online you may reserve your copy of this year's yearbook by bringing cash or check in the amount of $50 to Mrs. Muz in room 139.
  • All Spirit Wear is half price in the library during lunches. Sweatshirts and long sleeve t shirts are $10; short sleeve t shirts are only $7.50.
  • Reminder!!! Claim any lost items in the lost and found outside of Room 103.
  • Boys and Girls Soccer Thur May 4th at Bayside. Girls at 4:45pm. Boys at 6pm.=
  • There is no running or horseplay allowed in the hallway. These actions will result in an automatic 2 hour detention. Please help us keep the hallways safe!
  • Any 8th grader receiving ISS beginning May 1 will not be eligible for the end of year pool party.
  • American Legion Nominees will meet in the Library on Mon, May 1 during Advisory. 
  • NJHS Meeting on Monday 5/1 at 4pm in the Library. Remember your service hours are due at this time. If you would like to stay until 6pm we will be creating some thank you cards after the regular meeting. Bring decorations for the cards if you have them.
  • The scores for the LDC teams were announced on April 22 at the LDC Spring Social. In their respective competitions: our Orienteering team placed 3rd in District; Our Armed Drill Team placed 3rd; our Unarmed drill team placed 3rd; our Male Color Guard placed 3rd; our Female Color Guard placed 2nd; and our Academics team placed 1st; our Physical Training Team placed 2nd; At the April Stryker meet, our team placed 4th and at the Archery Competition Seabrook came in 4th with William McGarity placing 4th overall in the Male Individual Category. We placed 2nd overall in District. Sgt. Jones is super proud with all that was accomplished. 
  • Algebra EOC exam will be on Tuesday May 2
  • Biology EOC exam will be on Thursday May 4
  • Jeans Day on Friday, May 5 to benefit Melanoma Research. Bring $1 to wear jeans. Jeans must be in good repair with no holes, tears or rips. Standardized dress for shirts. 
  • STAAR testing will be the week of May 8-12.
